El Camino...That's Spanish for THE CAMINO! Wow. Well, today was DEFINITELY a good news day for me! Well, let me show you how it all happened...(I love this...okay, now...*dreamlike sequence begins*) My mom made me get up at 6 (*groan*) so I could shower and get breakfast before we left to go look at the El Camino. Well, I got up and showered, and then I spent like the rest of the time digging in my room for clean clothes and trying to put my hair up. Well, we got in the truck and stopped at the gas station for something to drink and then I put my headphones on and zoned out. My parents managed to pull me away from my music for a bit to tell me not to get my hopes up, because then it'll be a piece of shit...well I ACTED like I didn't have my hopes up, but I did...I thought it was the one...So anyway, we get there and the guy came out and we walked into the garage and it was under a cover...The antenna folds :) and it has a HOOD ORNAMENT!!!!! So anyways, we were looking at it and we started it up, and I just fell in love...then my dad and I test-drove it, and I fell in love even faster...It was so great, seriously! So anyway, we asked the guy if he'd go from $3,399 to $2,500 but he said no, so we huddled and decided to ask $2,750...he said $2,800, and my dad pulled out cash and we bought it!!! (I'm lucky...my dad put my brother's truck on his credit card, so my brother has to pay interest...I don't!) So we brought it home and my dad got a couple spares made of the keys and bought me some stuff to clean it with...so I washed the outside and started working on the inside and my brother wanted to drive it..well, I said okay so I put the stuff in the back behind the seat and we went for a drive...well I got back and didn't have a lot of time so I scrubbed it all out and everything, and I still have a lot left to clean, but it's so awesome...I'll have pics up soon, but I have to upload them... Anyway, I had this sketch that I made with an eye and a ladder and flames and shit, and I showed Seb (allthatsleft.diaryland.com) and he got it as a tattoo! The tattoo guy changed it a bit, but I'm dying to see it! Someone has my name (Ger *last name*) tattooed on their leg! Yey! :P So That's cool! Anyway, I am really tired and I wanna go to bed since it's almost 11...c ya! (I'll try to have pics up tomorrow!) \m/ |
